The University of Pittsburgh renovated four computer labs between the Cathedral of Learning and Lawrence Hall. The goal of this project was to develop a new, cohesive brand for the updated spaces that reflects new patterns of computer usage. The design team engaged students and users through interactive, collaborative workshops to create an innovative environment that seamlessly integrates modern technology.

This includes desktop computers provided by the University, as well as plug-in stations for a wide spectrum of user-provided devices. Workspaces comprise multiple options that support a variety of study and research needs, from glass-enclosed private study rooms to open lounge seating. Interior design details feature the yellow and blue of Pitt branding. The updated computer labs successfully incorporate contemporary technology with current planning and furniture solutions for a functional and superior experience.
