IKM’s Specifications and Constructability Specialist, Bob Bailey, AIA, LEED AP, CSI, CCS, recently won a “Communications Award” at the recent CSI, Construction Specifications Institute, convention for his outstanding effort in the communication of CSI related topics and activities. This was awarded this for all his researching, designing, editing and publishing of a professional, educational and informative newsletter that supports the values of the Pittsburgh Chapter, Mid Atlantic Region. Bob has also been asked to be on the editorial board of The Construction Specifier, CSI’s national magazine.
Emerging professional at IKM, Brian Karcher recently became LEED GA, or LEED Green Associate. As a LEED Green Associate, Brian has a documented, up-to-date understanding of the most current green building principles and practices, and are committed to their professional future.
IKM’s marketing coordinator, Kelly Barca and Interior Designer, Lauren Vrbin submitted photos and were chosen by the AIA and Steel City Grammers as winners for the #SCG_AIADesignPgh16 Contest on Instagram! Theirs will be 2 of 10 pictures featured at the AIA exhibition in the Cultural Trust Education Center through October, including during the September gallery crawl and the AIA Pittsburgh Design Awards gala.
